What is Experiential Psychotherapy?

Experiential psychotherapy focuses on the here and now. Through mindful and curious attention to what’s happening in the moment, we can uncover emotions, patterns, beliefs, and ways of relating that may be difficult to access through words and intellectual understanding alone.

Rather than simply talking about your experiences, we use your present moment experience itself as a doorway to deeper understanding and change. By bringing awareness to what is happening in your body, emotions, and thoughts, you can begin to access new perspectives, discover different ways of responding, and develop a more authentic relationship with yourself.

Experiential psychotherapy has been shown to help people trust themselves more.
